What is needed to protect $25 million players is significantly better water and rain protection equipment. The cold has mostly (not completely) been solved, but being really soaked in a rainy soccer game is still no picnic. A team that felt non-flooded in heavy rains would have an advantage over a team that was soaked to the birthday suit.
