Dixie chicks, blind soccer, German TV = Another Moment of Soccer Enjoyment

I wouldn't have guessed this to be a good video (2 minutes+), but I enjoyed the first goal as much as many I have seen from actual games. Soccer (all sports) are about overcoming obstacle. Blindfolded players is a MAJOR obstacle.

This reminded me that communication is the root of soccer success, and that the core problem is the message recipient usually thinks that they have a better plan than their teammates are suggesting at the moment. These players here are fully accepting the messages from the play caller (who clearly knows something about soccer, the Dixie Chicks?).

Better soccer teams have players that trust others. This is not automatic, but can be learned in practice.
