No. The defense shouldn't have let the wing have so much space, but it wasn't an astounding amount of space considering the field position.

The goalkeeper moved forward and the man just shot over his head. Soccer isn't rocket science. If the goalie stops defending the goal, the other team has it easy.

Goalkeepers, stay by the goal.

The only time to go out are when a lone offender has the ball all by himself on a break away, and even then, going forward too much allows the player to shoot over your head.
